2025 Motocross camps

Moto Kids Camp (Age 6-16)

2025 Dates: July 8–11 and August 26–29
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm daily
Cost: $750 + HST
Skill Level: Novice to Experienced Riders
*Must bring your own bike

Moto Kids Camp at Gopher Dunes is a 4-day dirt bike camp designed for young riders who want to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and have a blast outdoors. From beginners just learning the ropes to experienced riders looking to level up, this camp has something for everyone.

Campers will receive hands-on coaching each day focused on improving technique - cornering, braking, jumping, body position, and more, while also enjoying free ride time on our tracks and trails. It’s the perfect mix of instruction and fun!

What’s Included:

  • Outdoor activities and time to hang out with fellow campers

  • Overnight parking for riders and families

This camp is all about kids having fun, riding lots, and learning in a safe and supportive environment.

 

Little Gophers Dirt Bike Camp (Age 4-8)

2025 Dates: August 19–21
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm daily
Cost: $550 + HST
*Bike rentals available for an additional fee

The Little Gophers Dirt Bike Camp is the perfect introduction to motocross for younger riders! This 3-day camp is a smaller version of our Moto Kids Camp, designed specifically for children ages 4 to 8 who are either new to riding or want to continue building their skills in a safe and exciting environment.

Campers will spend their days learning proper riding techniques like balance, throttle control, and body positioning, all while having tons of fun riding and playing outdoors. With smaller group sizes and age-appropriate instruction, every camper gets the attention and encouragement they need to grow.

  • Fun, beginner-friendly riding instruction

  • Access to young-rider practice areas and tracks

  • Plenty of playtime and dirt-filled adventures

If your little one is eager to ride and get their hands (and boots!) dirty, this camp is a great way to kickstart their love for motocross.

Pre-Walton Motocross Camp

2025 Dates: July 29 – August 1
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm daily
Cost: $825 + HST

This 4-day intensive motocross camp is designed for racers looking to fine-tune their skills and get race-ready for the Walton TransCan Amateur National the following week. Riders will train on Gopher Dunes' GP track and our Honda Canada GDR Fox Racing Team test track - offering the perfect terrain for real race prep.

Led by experienced instructors and pro-level riders, this camp focuses on dialing in race-day essentials like:

  • Race starts and sprint intensity

  • Corner speed and flow

  • Line selection and track breakdown

  • Mental and physical preparation

  • Moto-style drills and mock races

What’s Included:

  • Daily lunch and snacks

  • Expert instruction and race-focused training

  • Basic maintenance support

  • Overnight parking for riders and families

Whether you’re chasing a podium or aiming to improve your overall performance, this camp is a great way to build confidence and momentum heading into Walton week.

 

Little Gophers Summer Camp (Age 4-10)

2025 Dates: July 22–24
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm daily
Cost: $499 + HST

Get ready for three days of outdoor fun, creativity, and adventure at Gopher Dunes! The Little Gophers Summer Camp is perfect for young kids who love being outside and trying new things. From nature walks and team games to crafts and obstacle courses, this camp is packed with exciting activities designed to keep kids active, engaged, and smiling all day long.

The highlight of the week? A 2-hour dirt bike riding experience on the final day, where campers will suit up and get a taste of motocross in a safe and supportive environment with our trained instructors. No previous riding experience required!

  • Creative crafts and nature-based activities

  • A 2-hour beginner-friendly dirt bike lesson on Day 3

This is a great camp for kids who may be too young for full-day motocross camps but still want to experience the thrill of riding, along with all the classic summer camp fun.

Red Rider Kids Camp (Age 6-16)

2025 Dates: July 15–18 and August 12–15
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm daily
Cost: $1,200 + HST

No bike? No problem! The Red Rider Kids Camp is the ultimate beginner-friendly motocross experience for kids who want to learn how to ride in a safe, supportive, and super fun environment.

This 4-day camp is designed for kids who love the outdoors and want to try something new and exciting. Campers will be introduced to dirt biking with full instruction from experienced instructors, all while enjoying camp-style activities, outdoor games, and making new friends.

Absolutely everything is provided - from the dirt bike to the safety gear and lunch, making this a hassle-free and unforgettable summer adventure for both kids and parents.

What’s Included:

  • Honda dirt bike for each camper

  • Full safety gear (helmet, boots, jersey, pants etc.)

  • Riding instruction tailored to skill level

  • Daily lunch and snacks

  • Access to beginner-friendly tracks and outdoor areas

  • Overnight parking for riders and families
